Harley Davidson has been known to bring out some of the best performing and most comfortable motorcycles in the market ever since it was founded more than a hundred years ago. They specialize in making big bikes or motorbikes with 750 cc engines and above. Though all this, they have revolutionize the motorbike industry by introducing easy to customize bikes which brought about the era of chopper bikes. Because of this, Harley Davidson can be credited with the rise of a whole new biking culture and other subcultures regarding their product.
One of their most successful product lines is the Super Glide series which saw the introduction of the Dyna chassis. Multiple bikes were based on this chassis which could be considered as success. One prominent bike is the FXDB Street Bob.
The Harley Davidson Dynaparts FXDB Street Bob is somewhat of a recreation or reinterpretation of the successful design back in World War II known as the “bobber”. In a sense, it merges old school and new school in one package. It makes use of a single person saddle, ape bars and the traditional laced wheels to fully complete the “old school” image. Mix this with new brake systems, a more powerful vibration isolated twin cam 96 engine, a 4.8 gallon fat bob tank and chrome finish in the right places, then you have the 2008 FXDB Street Bob at its finest. This design mixed the best of before and today to give riders something out of the ordinary.
